OCALA, FL – After picking up his first win of the season on Friday night, Donny Schatz was back in winning form Saturday night at Bubba Speedway Park in Ocala, Fla., as the UNOH All-Stars continued their Florida Speedweeks.

It started early for the reigning World of Outlaws STP Sprint cars champion. He topped the 32-car field in qualifying behind the wheel of the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) No. 15 STP/Armor All/ Chevy J&J. He raced from sixth to first in the opening heat and again raced from fifth to third in the dash.  In the feature, he surged to the front quickly and kept his machine in the rubber groove the rest of the way to make it two straight wins to start the year.

“My STP guys came down (to Florida) ready to go,” admitted Schatz. “Rick, Scuba and Sparky worked hard and have done a great job these first two nights. My STP J&J was fast all night long. I just had to go out there and do the right things. This is what we expected to come out and do. We’re looking forward to next week’s races in Volusia.”

Schatz will return to action Wednesday night at Volusia Speedway Park near Barberville, Fla. It will be the first of five schedule nights including the first three of the 2013 World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars campaign.
