BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND – Donny Schatz was determined to keep his winning streak alive Friday night at Ausdeck Patios Archerfield Speedway near Brisbane. The six-time World of Outlaws champion won his first four starts behind the wheel of the Scott Jennings Racing (SJR) No. 15 Crimsafe backed J&J. He made it five consecutive wins by leading all 20 laps of the Crimsafe Australian Open. 

Schatz opened the night by setting fast time and ultimately started on the front row. The flag-to-flag victory in the main event kept the 2014 WoO champion perfect in international competition. The Fargo, North Dakota native defeated the field that included eight Americans and Australia’s best drivers. The win was his 10th career World Series triumph at the quarter-mile track.

Schatz returns Saturday to the track for the Crimsafe Australian Open finale. The 50-lap race will be pay $20,000 to the winner and Schatz will be looking to win his sixth Open in the last seven years.
