BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND – Donny Schatz pushed his winning streak to three on Friday night at Ausdeck Patios Archerfield Speedway near Brisbane. Schatz raced the Scott Jennings Racing Cimsafe backed No. 15 J&J from the 14th starting position to win Round 9 of the Supercheap Auto Sprintcar Track Championship.

“We’re having fun,” admitted Schatz. “It was fun taking the challenge and coming from 14th. We’ve been working hard to stay up front and tonight we had to come from a little deeper. I hope the fans enjoyed the show. It was fun from my seat for sure. The World Series guys will be here tomorrow so we’re looking forward to that challenge.”

Schatz qualified second before winning both his heat races and the dash event. He took the Kratzmann Caravans Challenge and started the main event 14th. The six-time World of Outlaws champion methodically worked his way to the front and ultimately took the lead from Bryan Mann. Schatz would go on to score his third straight win.
