BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND – Donny Schatz completed his Australian tour with another dominating performance at Ausdeck Patios Archerfield Speedway near Brisbane. Schatz raced the Scott Jennings Racing Cimsafe backed No. 15 J&J was dominate in the 50-lap Australian Sprintcar Open.

“This was a great way to close out our tour,” admitted Schatz. “Having Steve Brabeck from Crimsafe here with us made it even more special. Eric (Prutzman) came with me from Tony Stewart Racing and we worked with Paul Morris and the guys at his shop. We’ve had a lot of fun and I wish we had six more races.”

Schatz continued his dominance at the quarter-mile dirt oval. He finished eighth and fifth in his heat races before finishing second in the pole shuffle event. He shared the front row with Kerry Madsen and the six-time WoO champion was in control throughout. The victory continued his international winning streak and gives him four wins in 2015.

Schatz will return to United States on Monday and head directly to Tucson, Arizona, so that he can return to action in his Dirt Late Model at Tucson International Raceway. He’ll be running his No. 15 Petro of Fargo/Fastlane Car Wash/Schatz Crossroads Rocket in the NDRL’s Winter Freeze event. Pursuit of his seventh World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship on February 13 at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla.
