INDIANAPOLIS (May 29, 2015) – Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing’s (TSR) Donny Schatz will make an appearance at the J.D. Byrider store in Kokomo – 1186 E. Markland Ave. – from 12 to 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday, June 3, in advance of the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series annual stop at Kokomo Speedway later that evening.
Schatz leads the Outlaws back to Kokomo as the reigning series champion, current points leader and most recent WoO winner at Kokomo Speedway. The TSR driver is off to a tremendous start this season, winning 11 of the first 28 races. Last September, Schatz won for the first time at Kokomo and the victory was one of his 26 triumphs en route to earning his sixth WoO title. Schatz will pilot the TSR No. 15 Bad Boy Buggies/Chevrolet Performance/J.D. Byrider/J&J at the quarter-mile, dirt oval Wednesday night looking to continue his torrid start to the 2015 campaign. Schatz and his fellow Outlaw competitors will hit the track just after 6:30 p.m.
The June 3 appearance promotes an 18-year partnership between TSR and J.D. Byrider, the nation’s largest used car and finance franchise. Those attending will also get an up-close look at the racecar Schatz will compete in, have a chance to check out the team’s 53-foot race hauler and interact with Schatz and his Brownsburg, Indiana based crew.
