FARGO, N.D. (September 21, 2020) – Donny Schatz and the Tony Stewart / Curb-Agajanian Racing No. 15 team continued their run of consistency over the weekend during visits to Lawton Speedway in Oklahoma on Friday, Sept. 18th and Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas on Saturday, Sept. 19th.
Schatz started seventh and finished sixth in each feature over the weekend to bring his streak of top 10 finishes to 10. He now has 32 top 10 finishes in 42 starts. The 10-time series champion currently sits third in the World of Outlaws point standings 92 markers out of the lead.
The Carquest Auto Parts / Ford Performance team is geared up for a busy five-race stretch this week. It begins on Tuesday, Sept. 22nd with a visit to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio with the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions for the inaugural Governors Reign. Action continues Wednesday at Eldora before the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series schedule fires back up on Thursday with a trip to Plymouth Speedway in Indiana.
The Outlaw tour continues Friday at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio and Saturday at Lernerville Speedway in Pa.
The Plymouth and Wayne County events were originally scheduled for early August, but both were rained out.
Schatz, who currently has three wins on the season, last visited victory lane at the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup at Lernerville on July 21st.
