FARGO, N.D. (September 21, 2021) – The west coast swing for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series is complete and a trip to Ohio and Pennsylvania are up next for the Greatest Show on Dirt.

The Outlaws had just one event on the schedule last weekend with the running of the Tom Tarlton Classic at Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, California, which boasted a $21,000-to-win top prize.

Schatz started seventh on the grid for the main event and moved into the top five by lap three. The ten-time series champion ran a majority of the race in the fourth position despite several slide job attempts by DJ Netto to take the position away.

A restart with eight to go shuffled Schatz back to the seventh position, which is where he took the checkers.

A near cross-country trip this week will bring the Outlaws back to Eldora Speedway for the final time in 2021 for the BeFour the Crowns Showdown on Friday night.

In six starts at the famed half-mile this season, Schatz has three top five finishes, including two podiums.

On Saturday, the tour heads back to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania for the second time this season for the Commonwealth Clash. Schatz finished second at Lernerville back on July 20th during the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup.

Schatz is fourth in the standings entering this weekend’s races, 264 points out of the lead.

Schatz and the entire Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing team would like to thank all of their great partners for their continued support!
