FARGO, N.D. (July 23, 2023) – Donny Schatz and the Tony Stewart / Curb-Agajanian Racing No. 15 team followed the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series swung through Pennsylvania last week, with stopped at BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, and Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg.

Wednesday’s event at BAPS Motor Speedway was postponed due to rain during heat race action, meaning the World of Outlaws’ first visit to the track in 32 years would have to wait one more day.

Schatz lined up 17th at the start of the feature and drove his way up to 12th by the end of the 30-lap main event.

The Williams Grove Speedway doubleheader was up next.

After finishing 15th on Friday night, Schatz had a stronger night on Saturday. Schatz timed in 10th quick before finishing third in his heat race.

The 10-time series champion then drove to a ninth place finish during the 30-lap Summer Nationals finale for his 22nd top 10 finish of the season.

Schatz currently sits seventh in the points standings, just 10 points behind Gio Scelzi in sixth and 318 points out of the lead.

Up next, Schatz will head to Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, New York for the Saturday/Sunday Empire State Challenge.

Schatz is a two-time winner at Weedsport, winning back-to-back in 2015 and 2016.

Schatz and the entire Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing team would like to thank all of their great partners for their continued support!
