Fargo, N.D. (April 28, 2024) – Following a weekend washout at Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway, Donny Schatz and the rest of the No. 15 CarQuest / Ford Performance crew will head east for some Bullring action at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois on Wednesday night before returning to the high-banked half-mile Eldora Speedway for the annual ‘#LetsRaceTwo’ event.

Following last weekend’s double cancellation of action at Knoxville, Schatz and the rest of the World of Outlaws will take to Jacksonville Speedway on Wednesday night. This is scheduled to be Schatz’s fifth appearance on the shortest track on the Outlaw schedule.

Schatz has never finished worse than fourth at the Illinois .216-mile bullring which includes runner-up finishes in the series debut at the track in 2014 and in the series’ most recent visit in 2021.

The Greatest Show on Dirt will continue further east on Friday and Saturday with the annual running of ‘#LetsRaceTwo’ at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

In five Outlaw appearances at Eldora last season, Schatz scored three podium finishes, one of which was his 6th victory of one of the sport’s biggest crown jewels, the Kings Royal last July.

Schatz heads into his 145th and 146th Outlaw starts at Eldora with 18 career wins, 67 top fives, and 104 top tens and an average finish of 7.19 since his eighth place finish in his first Kings Royal as an 18-year-old in 1996.

Schatz will be just 34 points back of Outlaw point leader David Gravel when the series unloads in Jacksonville on Wednesday night in his quest for an 11th series championship. Schatz has two wins, six top fives, and 12 top tens in the 13 World of Outlaws events completed so far in the 2024 campaign.
