FARGO, N.D. (March 10, 2025) – The World of Outlaws season rolled from the Atlantic Coast to the Deep South of Alabama and Mississippi over the weekend as the series returned to the Talladega Short Track and Magnolia Motor Speedway.
Alabama’s Talladega Short Track kicked off the weekend’s action for the first time since 2023 and just the second time since 2011.
Schatz qualified 11th quick and transferred into the feature by way of a fourth-to-third place run in his heat. Schatz then went eight to sixth in the 35-lap feature that became somewhat bottom dominant in the late stages.
The Tony Stewart Curb-Agajanian Racing team made the two-and-a-half-hour trip to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday. This was just the third appearance to “The Mag” in series history.
After timing in 10th quick, Schatz finished fourth in his heat and 10th in the A-main.
Schatz now shifts his focus to the Kennedale Speedway doubleheader in Texas. In the series debut at the quarter-mile oval last year, Schatz finished ninth.
The 10-time series champion currently sits fifth in the standings, 110 points behind lead David Gravel.
Schatz and the Tony Stewart / Curb-Agananian Racing team would like to thank Carquest, Advance Auto Parts, Ford Performance, Curb Records and Martin One Source for their support.
