FARGO, N.D. (May 19, 2025) – Last week’s trek north of the border was the World of Outlaws’ first visit to Canada in eight years. Both nights at Ohsweken Speedway were completed, but Sunday’s event at Cornwall Motor Speedway was canceled due to rain.

Donny Schatz has enjoyed plenty of success in Canada and had speed once again as he passed a total of 19 cars in feature competition over the two nights of action and collecting a pair of top 10 finishes.

On Wednesday night, Schatz went from 12th to 6th in the main event, which was followed up by a run from 23rd to 10th on Thursday.

Thursday’s run was enough to give Schatz the night’s KSE hard charger award.

Up next, the Outlaws head back to Ohio for a three-race Memorial Day weekend. Schatz has a strong track record at all three upcoming venues – Attica Raceway Park (Friday), Sharon Speedway (Saturday), Atomic Speedway (Monday) – with a combined total of 10 wins.

Schatz has parked in victory lane at Attica five times, most recently in 2009, with four wins at Atomic. His lone win at Sharon came just a couple of seasons ago in 2023.

After this stretch in Ohio, a pair of North Dakota short tracks are on deck with River Cities Speedway and May 30th and Red River Valley Speedway on May 31st.
