FARGO, N.D. (October 19, 2026) – Donny Schatz advanced from 15th to ninth in Saturday’s Battle at Belle Clair, bringing the CJB Motorsports No. 15 home with a top-10 finish in the World of Outlaws’ inaugural visit to the Belleville, Illinois quarter-mile oval.
Schatz qualified eighth in Flight A with a lap of 10.044 seconds before starting and finishing fourth in Heat 2, transferring directly to the feature.
Starting 15th in the main event, Schatz gained six positions during the 40-lapper to finish ninth.
Schatz had moved into the 12th position by lap 10, before getting around Skylar Gee for 11th on lap 12. Schatz then rode in 11th until getting by current series points leader, David Gravel, for 10th, just before frontrunner Garet Williamson got upside down to bring out the red.
Schatz went on to finish in the ninth spot, collecting his 41st top 10 finish of the season.
Friday’s scheduled Cushion Capital Clash at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Indiana, was canceled because of rain.

The next scheduled World of Outlaws stop is the Jason Johnson Classic presented by FK Rod Ends at Texarkana 67 Speedway in Texarkana, Arkansas, on Friday, October 23, followed by the Short Track Nationals on Saturday, October 24.
