FARGO, N.D. (September 10, 2024) – After a month of racing in the Midwest, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series made the journey west for their only California swing of the 2024 season.

The first weekend in the Golden State brought the Outlaws to the Stockton Dirt Track and King’s Speedway.

Schatz’s weekend was highlighted by a 10th place run on Friday night at Stockton. Both nights of action featured very heavy and tacky racing surfaces, leading to conditions that made it difficult to pass.

Schatz came home 12th on Saturday night.

This weekend, the World of Outlaws head to two tracks they haven’t visited since 2022 – Bakersfield Speedway and Merced Speedway.

Schatz finished sixth in the most recent visit at Bakersfield after starting 12th. In 2022 at Merced, he started 16th and was involved in a lap one incident. After making repairs in the work area, Schatz was able to resume and salvage a 22nd place finish.

Schatz and the entire Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing team would like to thank all of their great partners for their continued support – Carquest Auto Parts, Advance Auto Parts, Curb Records, Ford Performance, Sage Fruit, Mobil 1, Absolute Automation & Security, J&J Auto Racing, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts
