FARGO, N.D. (April 29, 2025) – Following a weekend at two of the smallest tracks the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series visits, Donny Schatz and the series heads to Eldora Speedway for the annual #LetsRaceTwo double header.
Schatz started 12th last Friday night at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois. Schatz remained one spot shy of a top ten spot following a trio of cautions on laps four, six, and eight, respectively.
The final of the three restarts saw Schatz move into the top ten for the first time, before moving up to ninth following the fourth caution for Sheldon Haudenschild on lap 15.
Schatz was in the middle of a five car battle for each spot in the second half of the top ten before the fifth and sixth cautions just before the midway point.
Schatz spent the last half of the race battling with Haudenschild and Bill Balog, ending the race with a tenth place finish.
Schatz started the feature at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN with a fourth row starting spot after qualifying fourth quick. Schatz battled with point leaders David Gravel and Carson Macedo for the final spots in the top ten at the quarter pole of the 40-lap race.
Two late restarts cost Schatz his final chances to remain in the top ten, finishing the race with a 12th place finish.
This weekend, Schatz and the Outlaws head to Eldora Speedway for the first time in 2025. In four races in 2024, Schatz finished no worse than fourth and has 18 wins and 108 top tens in 147 career starts with the series at the half-mile Ohio oval.
