Fargo, N.D. (July 14, 2025) – Five races in five consecutive days are on the docket this week for Donny Schatz in the Tony Stewart Racing No. 15 as the country’s best drivers will converge in the Buckeye State starting Tuesday night at Attica Raceway Park for the Brad Doty Classic and for four nights of action at Eldora Speedway culminating in Saturday’s running of the 42nd Kings Royal.

A rainy week caused two cancellations as the series roared back to life following the Independence Day break, with rainouts at Deer Creek Speedway in Minnesota and night one at Wilmot Raceway in Wisconsin. Schatz started night two at Wilmot with the sixth fastest time trial lap and a third place run in his heat, setting up a row five starting spot in the 40-lap main event.

Schatz remained inside the top ten through the first caution on lap 15 for Sheldon Haudenschild, lap 17 for Connor Morrell, and lap 18 for Hunter Schuerenberg. As the Larry Hillerud Memorial passed the midway point, Schatz passed Garet Williamson for ninth, then reeled in Cole Macedo for eighth with ten laps remaining.

Schatz completed the final ten circuits, ending the race with an eighth place finish.

This week, the Outlaws start the week Tuesday night with the 37th running of the Brad Doty Classic at Attica Raceway Park. Schatz finished second at last season’s Classic, and heads to Attica with five career wins, 12 top fives, and 17 top tens in 19 career starts.

Two nights with the High Limit series follow at Eldora Speedway on Wednesday and Thursday before the Outlaws take over the high-banked half-mile near Rossburg, Ohio for Friday’s “Knight Before” and Saturday’s 42nd Kings Royal.

Schatz is a six-time Kings Royal champion and finished second in last year’s running. Schatz heads to Eldora with 18 career wins, 71 top fives, and 108 top tens in 147 career starts.
