Schatz Ends Successful Run Through Wisconsin with Win at Wilmot
Fargo, N.D. (July 15, 2024) - Donny Schatz and the rest of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series returned from a summer break with one final run through the Badger State last week which included events at the Beaver Dam and Wilmot Raceways. Schatz ended the three race mini-series parking in victory lane in the No. 15 CarQuest / Ford Performance J&J at Wilmot Saturday night. FARGO, N.D. (July 11, 2024) – Donny Schatz is most known for his clean driving, winning, but perhaps most importantly, his unbeatable consistency. His past record at Wilmot has displayed that consistency as the 10-time World of Outlaws champion has not finished outside of the top 10 since the series debuted at the track in 2006. Schatz’s average finish at Wilmot is an impressive 4.2 over 11 events. More impressively, his average finish over the last five years is an even three. Schatz finishes fourth in another rain-shortened Outlaw weekend
FARGO, N.D. (July 2, 2024) – Last weekend’s two-night Independence Spectacular at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin was shortened to one after rain washed out Friday’s action. The Carquest / Ford Performance No. 15 driven by Donny Schatz was fast once things got going on Saturday. Schatz timed in 10th quick before finishing fourth in his heat race, putting him 10th on the grid for the 30-lap feature. As the green flag on the feature flew, Schatz quickly jumped up to the sixth position. There, he found himself battling with Gio Scelzi for much of the race early on.
