Late race heroics secure the win for Schatz at Lakeside

KANSAS CITY, Kansas (October 14, 2023) – Donny Schatz raced to his fourth win of the season on Saturday night at Lakeside Speedway with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series. Schatz started second for the 25-lap feature, but fell back to sixth in the early stages of the race. (October 9, 2023) – Following the final races of the season against the Pennsylvania Posse over the last two weekends, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars will head back to America’s heartland this weekend with a pair of events in the state of Kansas. From there, a doubleheader at the birthplace of the World of Outlaws, Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, and the World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte are all that remain on the 2023 World of Outlaws campaign. Nearly 60 cars were checked in for action, the largest field for the National Open in almost a decade.
