BARBERVILLE, FLORIDA (March 5, 2024) – Donny Schatz collected yet another milestone on Monday night at Volusia Speedway Park, racing to his 500th career Sprint Car feature win. Schatz started on the outside of row two but quickly raced around Gio Scelzi and Sheldon Haudenschild to take second behind Buddy Kofoid. Schatz chased the Roth Motorsports No. 83 until misfortune struck Kofoid when he blew a tire. Schatz narrowly avoided the spinning California driver to inherit the lead for the ensuing restart.
