Schatz collects back-to-back top 10s in the Deep South; Texas up next
FARGO, N.D. (March 10, 2025) – The World of Outlaws season rolled from the Atlantic Coast to the Deep South of Alabama and Mississippi over the weekend as the series returned to the Talladega Short Track and Magnolia Motor Speedway. Alabama’s Talladega Short Track kicked off the weekend’s action for the first time since 2023 and just the second time since 2011. Schatz qualified 11th quick and transferred into the feature by way of a fourth-to-third place run in his heat. Schatz then went eight to sixth in the 35-lap feature that became somewhat bottom dominant in the late stages.
Schatz shows speed, consistency at Volusia
FARGO, N.D. (February 11, 2025) – Donny Schatz kicked off his 29th consecutive season on the World of Outlaws trail last weekend at Volusia Speedway Park with an all-new Tony Stewart Racing crew. The team had speed right out of the gate. Schatz began 2025 by picking up where he left off in 2024 with a KSE Hard Charger award on opening night. Schatz started 21st in the show-up-points-only event and wheeled his way up 13 positions to finish eighth. Dating back to last season, that was Schatz's fourth consecutive hard charger award.
